Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
An expert safari driver guide will meet/pick you from the Airport or your Nairobi Hotel with a 4×4 safari Land cruiser with a pop up roof. He will further explain explain to your about your 14 days safari from Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve, Aberadare national Park, Lake Nakuru national park, Maasi mara national Reserve, Lake Naivasha national Park, Hell’s gate National Park, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West national Park, and Mombasa Holiday.
You will then set off Immediately for Samburu Game reserve to reach in perfect time for Check in and lunch.
Take rest, then after leave at approximately 1600hrs for evening game drive
This morning you will be picked up from the airport or your Nairobi hotel and depart for Samburu Game reserve to arrive in time for lunch. You will have time at leisure before an evening game drive from 1600hrs until sunset.
Meals and Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Samburu Game Reserve
After an early wake, a delicious breakfast will be served. With Packed lunch for picnic, you will set off for a full day morning and evening game drive, especially around the Ewaso Ngiro River, which attracts most animals.
Animals you expect to see include Leopards, Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, reculated giraffes, Grevy’s Zebras, and Beisa’s Oryx’s
You can also go an extra mile to visit the Samburu Cultural Village (at an additional cost) for an awe-inspiring cultural treat, so that you can learn more about the history and cultural setting of the Samburu speaking people “also known as part of Maasai”.
Return to the lodge at dusk, for dinner, personal administration, and an overnight rest.
Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park
Be early for your last game drive in the morning, after then you will return for mid-morning breakfast. Check out at 1000 hrs for Aberdare national park, to enjoy viewing animals from the comfort of your room Balcony.
You can also opt for an afternoon leisure game drive at the Ark.
Dinner and a peaceful Overnight at Ark Lodge.
Day 4: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru
Be up early for breakfast, then exit the tree lodge for Lake Nakuru National Park. Along your way, you will have a break stop at the Thompson Falls. You will reach in time perfect for lunch and an afternoon game drive will be arranged, after lunch.
Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for its greater and lesser Pink Flamingoes that flock the Lake Shores plus black and white Rhinos. Besides flamings, the park is also home to more than 450 bird species, like white pelicans, plovers, Egrets, Marabou Stork.
It is also a home for Rothschild Giraffe. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight rest.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
You will depart after breakfast for Maasai mara national reserve, driving along the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time for lunch. An evening game drive will start in the evening, after your afternoon rest.
The diverse reserve with many conservancies is well known for Big 5 animals (Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Buffaloes & Rhinos).
Other resident animals, include Impalas, Zebras, Topi, Gazelles, Antelopes, Giraffes among others
Dinner and Overnight rest at the Lodge
Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will, in the morning head to the plains to search for the various herds of Zebras, Wildebeests, Gazelles among others, not forgetting the elusive Cheetahs and Leopards.
During your rest withing the reserve, you will settle down for a picnic lunch.
Return to the lodge at dusk to look for dinner and an overnight
Day 7: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
On this day 7, you will do a brief game drive as you exit the park, for Lake Naivasha and Hells gate ahead of you. Like other drive, you will also have break stops enroute, so that you can admire the magnificent landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.
Lake Naivasha alone is a Rift valley lake that has migratory birds, fish and school of Hippos.
Upon arrival, you will have an afternoon leisure boat ride, sailing by the hippos, with ultimate views of Zebras and antelope grazing close to the shore.
You will also launch further to the private Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, which hosts rich birdlife such as pelicans, cormorants and fish eagles.
While at Lake Naivasha, you can also have a guided walking safari, where you will also get close to wildebeests, waterbucks, zebra, gazelles among others.
Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
Rise up for a walking excursion in the morning, then proceed to Amboseli national Park, with an enroute break stop in Nairobi for lunch.
Amboseli is known for having massive Elephant herds, against the impressive views of the majestic Kilimanjaro Mountain.
You will take an evening game drive, where you will be able to see other animals apart from Elephants, like: lions, zebras cheetahs, Antelopes Wildebeests, giraffes, Buffaloes and many bird species.
Day 9: Amboseli national park to Tsavo west
Wake up early for one more game drive, as you leave Amboseli National Park behind, for a 2 hours drive to Tsavo West National Park.
Tsavo West is listed among the Oldest National Parks in Kenya, with magnificent Landscape, golden savannahs and glorious oases.
An afternoon game drive will be organized in the late afternoon or evening, so that you will be able to see giraffes, buffalos, hartebeests, dik-diks, monkeys and baboons.
An extended visit to the verdant, lush watering hole of Mzima Springs , which is the water sources for Mombasa town, Shetani lava Flow and Ash cones. Other creatures found here include; hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife along the shores.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 10: Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa
On this day, you will have an early breakfast and set off to catch the Madarak train from Mtito Andei train station to Mombasa Town.
Mombasa is described an ideal destination to unwind after all the safaris. You will relax under the coconut palm trees .
Lunch, dinner and overnight will be at one of the coastal beaches.
Day 11 & 12: Mombasa
Enjoy these few days at the beach, or you can participate in activities like; water sports, snorkeling, Buccaneer diving, touring plus touring the town of Mombas among others.
Day 13: Departure
Depending on your decision, you can flight out of the country through Mombasa International Airport, or, the driver can bring you back to Nairobi, for your post safari flight back home from Jommo Kenyatta International Airport
