3 days Lake Mburo Safari takes you Uganda’s smallest National park for an incredible wildlife encounter, game viewing, boat cruise and nature walk.
The 3 days Lake Mburo Safari is a short tour package for adventure travelers who want to spend a weekend away from the noisy city or those visitors who have come for a conference and have limited time.
All-Inclusive. Your 3-day lake Mburo National Park Safari Uganda guided tour package includes park entrance fees, game drives, launch cruise, all ground transportation, nature walks when asked for, an English speaking guide or any other language(if requested), accommodations and meals.
We will pick you up from Entebbe Airport or your preferred accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe, in a private customized 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.
The Park is sometimes thought to be Tanzania’s extension from the Serengeti plains, due to its abundance of wildlife, magnificent biodiversity & landscapes, that separate it from other national parks
Lake Mburo is 240km far from Kampala town , along Masaka-Mabara road, and can easily be reached by road. The park situated just 15km from the main road, and can easily be accessible from Nshara gate, when coming from Kampala “The Capital city of Uganda”.
The park measure an area of 26o square kilometers, and is characterized by rocky outcrops, valleys, Acacia woodland, swamps, Savannah grassland rolling hills and about fourteen lakes which are found within the park and each is enclosed by the wide wetlands allowing over 300 species of birds to thrive.

Detailed Itinerary for 3 days Lake Mburo Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
When you arrive, Aloyo Safaris’ professional driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala. He will brief you about your 3 days Lake Mburo wildlife safari, after which you will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park in Northwestern Uganda. Along your way, you stop at the equator for photography and experience both the Northern and southern hemisphere.
You will arrive early for lunch at your preferred lodge/hotel, and later on head for a cultural or village walk to experience the Bahima’s way of living. Return for Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Game drive & Boat cruise
On day 2 of 3 days Lake Mburo National Park safari, you will have to choose between having an early breakfast before heading for the morning game drive and starting your day with the morning game drive, then come back for breakfast.
Whatever option you choose, the driver guide will drive you through the tracks which offer impressing and stunning views of the park including the rolling hills and all the five lakes. The game drive will lead you to great encounters with, giraffes Zebras, Eland, water bucks, bush bucks, warthogs, impalas, Klipspringer, as well as the night creatures and predators like hyenas, leopards and jackals.
Return to the lodge to relax, as you wait for lunch, and then go for your afternoon boat cruise on the main Lake, where you spot different wildlife by the Lake shores like the hippos, crocodile and a number of bird species including the African fin foot, African grey hornbill, Brown Parrot, Common Scimitar bill, Crested Francolin, fish eagles, herons, Nubian Woodpecker, papyrus bush strike, pelicans, shoe bill stork, weaver birds, white winged warbler and Yellow breasted Apalis.
Day 3: Departure- Return to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport
Wake up for for your morning breakfast on this 3rd day of the 3 days Lake Mburo Safari. Journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport after your morning nature walk at Rubanga forest. The forest walk will reward you with sightings of primate species, such as the black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons not forgetting various bird species including herons, doves, sun birds among others. The driver guide will drop you off at the airport.acking, bat cave or visit the Blue Lake.
