We will pick you up from Entebbe Airport or your preferred accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe, in private customized 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.

3 days Murchison falls safari will take you to Murchison Falls national Park, the second largest national park, located in the North Western Uganda. Murchison Falls national Park  covers an area of 3840km, and was gazette as a game reserve in 1962. The park lies between two districts of Masindi and Amuru, while the falls have for along time been the major attraction in this park.

Murchison Falls national Park is a natural habitat to more than 451 bird species including, the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, the Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher;  76 mammal species, a big number of Nile crocodiles and above all the impressive and the spectacular which Falls squeezes their way through a gorge that is 8m wide. All said, you will also enjoy game drives and the boat cruises along the Nile River.

Detailed Itinerary for 3 days Murchison Falls National Park Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you up from  the Entebbe International Airpot who will brief about the 3 days Murchison falls Safari, after which you will be driven to Murchison Falls National park, through Luwero, and later have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking, where you will find both black and white rhinos.

From here, you will proceed to Masindi for a lunch treat, after then you will proceed to the park and make payments, so as to continue with your drive to the Top of the Falls. You will be able to spot numerous animals including warthogs, baboons etc

Being at the top of the falls is an inspiring experience as you will glimpse the magnificent falls squeezing through the rocks in an 8m gorge., where you will also take Take as many photos as you can. You will then be driven to the lodge, relax the whole evening, have dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise along the Nile

You will wake up early for breakfast at 6:30 am, after which you will be picked by the driver guide from the Lodge at 7:00am for the morning game drive. During the drive you will be able to spot very many animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, water bucks and birds among others.

Return to the Lodge at 11:40 am, relax/freshen up and later on have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. You will then be driven  to catch up with the afternoon boat, where you will spot game including  Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different beautiful birds some singing in the trees such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers, the shoe billed stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls, when you reach here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls.

You could opt to go for hiking to the top where you will meet your driver guide who will drive you back to the lodge. Have dinner and an Overnight.

Day 3: Departure/Return to Kampala

Have breakfast, and later have an en-route game drive in the morning as you head back to Kampala. Chances are high that you might see game feeding on the grassland such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, not forgetting a number of bird species.

You again stop in Masindi for Lunch, after which you will proceed to Kampala or Entebbe international airport to catch up with your scheduled flight
