5 days Murchison Falls Kidepo Wildlife (Big 5 game) Safari, tours Murchison falls National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park in Uganda. The exciting 5 days wildlife safari takes you to Northern Uganda’s Top celebrated Savanna wildlife safari gems of Murchison Falls, & Kidepo Valley National Parks to spot Lions, Elephant hears, Rhinos, Leopards, Buffaloes, as well as numerous bird species.

Day #1: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park & Afternoon Game drive

Leave For Kidepo Valley National Park, aboard by an Aerolink  scheduled Flight at 1230 hrs, on either Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. You will land at Apoka Airfield in Kedepo Valley National Park, where you will be transferred by a professional/expert driver guide to check in at the Lodge, as well as having lunch.

Head for  an afternoon game drive to explore the magnificent Landscapes of the Kidepo Valley National Park like the Narus Valley, as well as spotting  large herds of Elephants, Buffaloes, Jackson’s heartbeests, Klipspringer, Jackals, Lions…

Return to the Lodge for dinner and an overnight sleep

Day #2: Morning Game Drive & Hot Springs

Be up very early in the morning for  breakfast, then head for a game viewing drive on the immense savanna plains of Kidepo Valley national Park, filled with patches of Borassus palm and the magnificent hills.

You will be amazed by the orange sun rise falling on the  Lomej Hills, Lotukei Mountains nearby the Sudan Border . You will also visit the hotsprings, where Ostriches are found. Lunch will be picnic in the wilderness, while dinner will be at the Lodge, followed by an overnight rest.

Day #3: Transfer By road to Murchison Falls National Park

Take early morning Game Viewing drive from 6:30 am to 0900 hrs, after which you will return for breakfast. Depart Kidepo  by road for Murchison Falls National Park, with an enroute break stop for lunch in Gulu town. You will reach in the evening at the park, and connect to Mid range Pakuba Safari Lodge or the Luxury Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day #4: Game drive, Boat Cruise & Top Of the Falls

Breakfast will be served very early in the morning at the lodge, the head for  game viewing drive for approximately 3-4 hours, following  the animal encounters in the park. Animals to lookout for include Buffaloes, Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Uganda Kob, Leopards, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Waterbucks, Oribis.

Lunch time will find you settled in the Lodge, thereafter embark on the after drive to catch up with the afternoon boat for a cruise along the Nile River. You will e impressed by the magnificent  views of bottom of the Murchison Falls. Expect to gaze at Hippos, crocodiles, birds,  along the river banks including Kigfisher, cormorants, bee-eater….

Spend time viewing the bottom of the falls, while taking great photos from the different viewpoints of the water fall, then return to meet the driver, who will drive you to the top of the falls.

Return for dinner at the lodge, followed by an overnight.

Day #5: Rhino Tracking -Transfer Back to Kampala/Entebbe

Rise up early for breakfast, then leave Murchison Falls National Park behind for Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Tracking, that might take about  hours 2-3 hours, including briefing, trekking and 60 minutes of interacting up close with Rhinos.

Thereafter, take the last drive back to Kampala to be dropped at your point of choice ; either hotel or Airport
