Detailed Itinerary of the 5 days Tanzania Hot Air Balloon Safaris
Day 1: Journey to Tarangire National Park
Following your morning breakfast in Arusha, You will be met by an experienced and profession driver guide from Aloyo Safaris, who will brief you about your 5 days Tanzania Balloon Safaris. From here, you will depart from Arusha to Tarangira National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at your reserved lodge after which you along with the driver will proceed for the afternoon game drive. Wild game to look out for include large herds of elephants, Maasai giraffes, buffalo, lions, wildebeests, elands, zebras and many more.
Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner, and overnight rest at reserved lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive and Afternoon Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area
Wake up early for breakfast, thereafter, with your packed lunch, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an enroute morning game drive as you exit Tarangire National Park. Along your way, chances are high that you might encounter nocturnal animals like lions, cheetah, honey badge, genets, leopards, bush babies, white-tailed mongoose, civet, bat-eared fox, marsh mongoose, black-backed jackal striped hyena, zorilla, aardvark, spotted hyena, wild dogs, wild cats, caracal, among others. Lunch in the wild, and proceed on a 4 hour drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will reach in the evening at your reserved lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.
Day 3: Full Day Game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation area
Have an early morning game drive, thereafter proceed your full day game drive to spot wild game including; elephants, cheetah, lions, hartebeest, hippos, Black Rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, eland, giant Gazelles, leopards, buffalos, reedbuck, waterbuck, warthogs, hyenas, baboons, jackals and the vervet monkeys. You will also sight some birds during the game drive like; crowned crane, martial eagle, black bustards, ostrich, kori bustard, secretary birds, marabou stork, bizaire secretary, love birds, bustards, and the famous plovers. The park also inhabits European migrants including the Augur Buzzards, white storks, swallows, Schalow’s Wheatear, Yellow Wagtails, flamingoes, Anteater Chat, Stonechat, Fiscal Shrike, and Verreaux’s Eagle. Later return to your booked luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Serengeti National Park
On this 4th day of the 5 days Tanzania Balloon safari, you will head out for an nearly morning community walk to visit Masai people, to enjoy some traditional performances, you might also opt for a forest walk, then later on drive to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 5: Fly in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti Golden Plains and Afternoon Transfer to Arusha
Breakfast will be served early, after then the driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the point at which other tourists gather for the Hot Balloon Experience. The guides as well as the pilots will then brief you about the regulations, after then you will be flown high over the endless plains of the Serengeti national Park. This unique experience to view game in the wild at an arial view including elands, pride of lions, herds of elephants, wildebeests, zebras, topi, cheetahs, waterbuck, gazelle, crocodiles, hippos, jackals, warthogs, wild dogs, giraffes, impala among others. The balloon experience ends with bush breakfast and wine toast. You will be a warded a Hot air Balloon certificate, after which you will return to the lodge for lunch.
