This 2 days Jinja city tour & White Water Rafting excursion allows you to be close to River Nile and Lake Victoria. Starting from Kampala, the journey passes through huge sugar can plantations to Mabira Forest for a short 2 hour guided forest walk to search for birds,  mammal creatures and beautiful plant species. Day 2 of the 2 days Jinja City tour & White water rafting takes you on a full day White water rafting excursion on River Nile Source.

White (Nile) Water Rafting is a short 1 day white water rafting adventure safari  package activity in Uganda which directly allows you to raft over the 3rd and 5th grade which flows in Large volume.

Whereas there are also some exciting sections with space between to lay back and float along  which offers great glimpse of wildlife, and various bird life. There are no crocodiles or hippos in this section of the river. These upper reaches of the Nile are becoming a ‘must do’ for Kayakers.

White Water rafting is divided into 2, that is  ½ day and full day trips covering 31kms and  (45kms).

 

Rafting is an amazing activity that allows you to handle pressure and remain calm even under pressure. This activity takes you through the turbulent sections and rapids of the Jinja Nile river.  The grades are categorized into grade 3, 4 and 5 hence offering the best Water rafting experiences in Uganda.

Your 2 days white water rafting on River Nile in Jinja Uganda Safari experience includes:  Water rafting depending on your booked schedule (either half or full day) per person per day, all ground transportation, an English speaking guide or any other language(if requested), accommodations and meals as per the Itinerary.

We will pick you up from Entebbe Airport or your preferred accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe, in private customized 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.

Detailed  Itinerary for 2 days Jinja City Tour & White Water Rafting On River Nile Uganda

Day 1: Kampala to Jinja with stop at Sezibwa falls and Mabira forest

On this day, you will drive to Jinja from Kampala. One of our company driver guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast or from the airport or your preferred pickup location.  He will brief you about your 2 days Jinja City Tour & White water Rafting on the Nile River, then set off for a drive to Jinja.

Following the itinerary for the 2 days Jinja City Tour & White water Rafting on the Nile River, you will visit the  Sezibwa Falls, a nature walk at Mabira forest, where you expect to spot various bird types, primate species like the red-tailed monkey. You will more impressed by the breathtaking views of the eye-catching sugar and tea plantations.  And later continue to the Lodge for lunch.

After then proceed for a boat ride to explore the source of the Nile and the Samuka Island.  The Samuka Island is a breeding ground for a wide concentration of  species of birds. The driver will take you back to the hotel for a shower, relaxation and mingling.

Day 2: White water rafting, Bungee Jumping, Horse riding, Quad Biking – Departure

Have your breakfast in the morning, set off with the driver, for water rafting along the river Nile. The river Nile in Jinja provides some of the best spots for water rafting in Uganda. Following your rafting schedule, one can go for a full day or half day white water rafting, yet the morning session starts at 9am.

You will join your fellow rafters for registration and briefing. After then, you will be given the rafting gear with life jackets, helmets and other rafting gear. The activity will continue for about 4 hours after which you will stop for lunch. Half day rafters can stop here and proceed for horse riding, quad biking, or bungee jumping. Each activity takes one hour.

While the full day rafters will complete up to 5:00pm, with a barbecue wrap up surprise party. After completing the activity.

The driver will then journey back to Kampala reaching late in the hotel.
