Detailed Itinerary of the 3 days Rwanda safari

Day 1: Arrival for 3 days Volcanoes National Park Rwanda Safari

On arrival, you will find Aloyo Safaris Professional & Experienced driverr guide waiting to welcome you to Rwanda. He will brief you about a bout your 3 days | Volcanoes National Park-Best Rwanda Safari to trek Mountain Gorillas, and Golden Monkeys, and immediately take you on a Kigali city tour to visit important sites including the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Crafts market in Kigali among others. Depending on time of arrival, you will have lunch in any restaurant in the city or lunch enroute as you drive to Musanze (Ruhengeri), arriving in the evening for to checkin your hotel as you wait for mountain gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park

On day 2 of the 3 days Volcanoes National Pak Rwanda safari For Gorilla trekking and Golden Monkey tracking, you will wake up early for breakfast. After here, the driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters of Volcanoes national park Rwanda for Briefing about the do’s and don’ts as well as the expectations of Mountain gorilla trekking. Day 3: Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes national park

On This day, we finally come to an end of the 3 days Volcanoes National Park Rwanda safari. Like Gorilla trekking, you will be transferred very early to the park headquarter, after your morning breakfast, to the briefing area for golden monkey trekking. The ranger guide will brief you about the expectation for Golden Monkey trekking.

Golden monkeys are found not only in Uganda’s Mgahinga National park, but also Rwanda’s Volcanoes national Park.

Unlike Gorillas, the golden monkey are generally more active and mobile, which requires continuous follow up, as they look for food, feed their young ones among other activities in the jungle. You will also spend a full hour in their presence, after which you will proceed for lunch and later on drive to the Airport, to catch up with your next flight back home.

What are the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking?

Don’t visit the gorillas if you have a cold, fever or illnesses of any sort

Human waste should be buried beneath the ground about 30cm (12″) deep

At most eight persons are allowed to visit each gorilla family

When you are with the gorillas, maintain a 7m-10m distance from the gorillas

Smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed when with the gorillas

If you must sneeze or cough cover your face and turn away from the gorillas, as they are susceptible to catch coughs and colds from humans

Visits are limited to one hour per gorilla group per day, per trek
