4 Days | Rwanda Safari: This 4 days Rwanda safari, Gorilla Trekking Iby’Iwachu and Golden Monkey takes you to Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla trekking, Iby’Iwachu Cultural Experience and golden Monkey Tracking.

All Inclusive: This 4 days | Rwanda Gorilla & Golden Monkey tracking will include a Rwanda gorilla permit at USD1500 and Golden Monkeys tracking permit at USD100  including an intimate encounter with the gorilla guardians at the Iby’Iwachu Cultural Village, not forgetting all ground transportation, an English speaking guide or any other language(if requested), accommodations and meals as per the Itinerary.

Volcanoes National Park is located in North western Rwanda, which forms a borderline with Uganda’s Mgahinga gorilla National Park, and Congo’s Virunga National Park.

The park covers an area of 62 square miles, 5 out of 8 volcanoes of the vast Virunga Mountains such as Mount Muhabura, Karismbi, Bisoke, Sabinyo & Gahinga.

Safari Itinerary for the 4 Days | Rwanda Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes national park

You will be met by Aloyo Safaris Professional, knowledgeable & Experienced driver guide, who will pick you up from your hotel or from the airport. He will brief you about your 4 days Rwanda safari, and later drive you through the vibrant city of Kigali for a tour to visit the Kigali Genocide memorial Site, Crafts market in Kigali among others. You will have lunch in any restaurant in the city or lunch enroute as you drive to Musanze (Ruhengeri), arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight sleep  at your hotel as you wait for mountain gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park

On day 2 of the 4 Days | Rwanda safari For Gorilla trekking Iby’Iwachu and Golden Monkey tracking, you will wake up early for breakfast. After here, the driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters of Volcanoes national park Rwanda for Briefing about the do’s and don’ts as well as the expectations of Mountain gorilla trekking. The ranger guide will share the  code of conduct of how you must behave during your trek, when you are with the gorillas, until when your finally depart. Gorilla trekking may lust for about 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorilla family, how far they may have moved from the previous position, or otherwise the physical strength of the group members.

Once you locate the gorilla, you are allowed to spend up to one hour with gorillas and ensure you maintain a distance of 7 meters away from the gorillas.

Return for your lunch at the lodge, and in case you have time in the afternoon, there is an option of visiting the Iby’Iwacu cultural village to learn more about the Rwandan history & culture, or visit the twin lakes.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes national park

On this day, of the 4 Days | Rwanda Safari, you will be transferred very early to the park headquarter, after your morning breakfast, to the briefing area for golden monkey trekking. The ranger guide will brief guide you about the expectation for Golden Monkey trekking.

Golden monkeys are found in Uganda’s Mgahinga National park and Rwanda’s Volcanoes national Park. Unlike Gorillas, the golden monkeys are generally more active and mobile, which requires continuous follow up, as they look for food, feed their young ones among other activities in the jungle. You will also spend a full hour in their presence while maintain a 7m distance, after which you will proceed for lunch at the lodge and spend your whole evening relaxing.

Dinner and Over night at the Lodge

Day 4: Departure. Transfer To Kigali

After breakfast early in the morning, you will also take a 2 hours drive to Kigali. On reaching the beautiful Kigali, you will go for a city tour visiting several centers of the historical and cultural background of Rwanda, visit the local markets of Nyamirambo market, for example, handicraft shops, the Franco-Rwandan cultural center, and the genocide memorial. After the city tour, you will have lunch and then Transfer to the airport for your final flight departures.
