A Detailed 12 days Tanzania Safari With Hot Air Balloon & Zanzibar Beach Holiday
Day #1: Welcome to Tanzania-Arusha
On arrival, you will be met by an Aloyo safaris expert safari guide, who will pick you up from Kilimanjaro international Airport, and later on transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha, immediately after your itinerary briefing.
Lunch enroute, while a delicious dinner waits for you at Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will rest overnight.
Day #2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Following your breakfast at the lodge, you will leave for Tarangire National Park, arriving in an auspicious time for lunch. Relax a little, afterwards you will head for an afternoon game drive. Tarangire national Park offers breathtaking vistas of open Acacia woodland & grass savannah, where large elephants as well as other animals like fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser Kudu roam free, Lions, Cheetahs and Leopard among etcetera reside.

Day #3: Journey to Serengeti From Tarangire via Olduvai Gorge
Wake up early for breakfast then depart for Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Malanja Depression towards Olduvai Gorge. This desert like gorge is at the edge of the Ngorongoro highlands and is the world’s famous as a repository for the remains of largest population of animals that roamed these plains years ago.
You will also visit the museum where the famous Zinj skull is found, the Zinjanthropus men of 1.8 million years ago, whose remains were found here by Dr. Leakey.
Later on proceed to Serengeti national park for a full afternoon game drive, after you picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight rest at One Nature Nyarusigwa lodge in the Sereonera area
Day #4 and #5: Hot air balloon & Game Drives (Serengeti)
Full days spent exploring the park. Morning and after noon gamedrives are offered as well as hot air balloon in any of the days, depending on your choice. Serengeti is Africa’s most popular and Tanzania’s largest National park covering 14,736 sq km and joins with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya.
The park hosts a wildebeest population of about 2 million including other hoofed species; zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog, the Serengeti is sure to attract various predators such as lions, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Kopjes area. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day #6: Drive Serengeti To Ngorongoro
On this day, we spot game as we head southeast up into the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation. You will enjoy a afternoon crater tour followed by dinner and overnight stay at your booked lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day #7: Drive Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National park
Depart the lodge immediately after breakfast, then leave for Lake Manyara National park for a full afternoon game drives with enroute lunch. Lake Manyara is a shallow, soda lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall; the lake is at the base of this dramatic western escarpment giving it a beautiful and beautiful setting.
Besides, Lake Manyara’s main attractions are its rich bird life, tree climbing lions as well as its hippos, which can easily be spotted at a closer range than many other places. Day #9 – #11: Day in Zanzibar
From the 9th to the 11th day will be scheduled for relaxing by the beach resorts in Zanzibar. Possible activities while in Zanzibar are snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing and swimming
Day #12: Departure
Depending on the flight schedule, you will wake up to a delicious and tasty breakfast, after then you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your flight back home.
