9 Days Kenya Safari From Mombasa
This 9 days Kenya Safari starts from Mombasa coastal city to Kenya’s National Parks; Tsavo East, Tsavo west, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara National reserve and ends in Nairobi.
Tsavo East national Park is just 2 ½ hours drive away from Mombasa town, at an approximate distance of 160km.
The park hosts nearly all the larger mammals such as; the large herd of Red elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Leopards Crocodiles, Rhinos, Hippos, Gerenuk, water bucks, Lesser kudu, and more than 500 prolific bird species.
The Journey then continues to Kenya’s Largest Park Tsavo West National Park, which is known as one of Africa’s Biggest. The parks is home to numerous wildlife; Vast pride of Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Leopards, Hippotamus, Rhinoceros.
Whereas smaller animals that are often spotted include Bush baby, heartbeests, lesser kudu, White tailed Mongoose, Genet Cart, Jackal, Hyrax Dik-dik, Oryx and pocupines.
Thereafter, proceed to Amboseli National Park, so famous for its vast herds of Elephants, and the impressive views of the Kilimanjaro at the back of the park. The next drive then heads to most tranquil fresh water Lake of Naivasha that was formed in the Great Rift Valley. Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days Kenya safari
Day 1: Drive to Tsavo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, meet up with Aloyo Safaris Expert driver guide at your hotel of residence. With him, you will for Tsavo East national Park in South East Kenya, next to Voi town inside Taita Taveta District of the Cost Province.
You continue with the mid-morning game drive, as you head to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, set off for another game drive so as to spot some of the wildlife like Crocodiles, Lesser kudu, Water bucks, Gerenuk, Buffaloes, Lions, Red elephants, Leopards, Rhinos and various bird species out of the 5oo recorded in the Park.

Day 2: Drive to Tsavo West national park national park
Rise up early for game drive to catch up with animals you may have missed the previous day, before you take your mid-morning breakfast when your return to the Lodge. Thereafter continue with your drive to Tsavo West national park, arriving in time for lunch at the hotel, where you will checkin. Later in the afternoon, visit the Mzima springs to see Nile crocodiles, Hippos and various animals such aszebras, Gazelles, Elephants, , Buffaloes, Giraffe, Impalas, Waterbuck, Eland, Hartebeest, Stenbuc, Klipspringer among others, not forgetting the big number of birds you will encounter including White headed buffalo waver, brilliant plumaged Golden Breasted Starling etc. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Drive to Amboseli national park
Wake up early for the Morning game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, then proceed to Amboseli national park at the foot hills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park, among all other African destinations is famous for its vast number of Large Mammals especially Elephants. Other animals you expect to see include Hippos, Antelopes, Spotted hyenas, Jackals, warthogs, Olive baboons and birdlife in abundance.

Day 4: Full Days Exploration of Amboseli National Park
Depart the hotel with lunchbox, after breakfast for afull day Amboseli National Park Exploration. On a clear day, you will be amazed by the impressive beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Besides the Mountain views, you will encounter game like; Lions, cheetahs, Leopards, Masai giraffes, Elephants, Zebras, Grant’s Galles, Oryx, Gerenuk, Impalas, Spotted hyenas, wildebeests and numerous birds.
Return for dinner and overnight rest in the Lodge.
Day 5: Proceed to Lake Naivasha National park
In the morning, have breakfast, then continue with an enroute game drive as you exit Amboseli national Park for Lake Naivasha national park (also know as the only fresh water Lake of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya). Reach the hotel in time for lunch, and embark on an afternoon launch cruise or, visit the Crescent Island to get so close with game as you walk among them, such as Grant’s Gazelles, Genet, Cats, Water bucks, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Zebras, hares Plus more than 450 bird species.
Lake Naivasha is the main drinking point where most game quench there thirst like the Buffaloes, Zebras, Impalas and more.

Day 6: Drive to Maasai Mara
On this days, you will have breakfast at Leisha and depart lake Naivasha for masai Mara. Upon reaching, have lunch, relax and later in the evening visit one of the Masai communities to learn about their day today way of lives.
Return for dinner and an overnight at the Lodge.
Day 7 & 8. Full day Maasai Mara
After breakfast, carry your packed lunch, and leave for the full day game drive around the park and at the Mara river.
Animals you expect to see frequently are the Zebras, Wildebeests, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, Elephants, buffaloes, Worthogs, Topis among other harbivores and the birds.
While predators include crocodile(at the Mara River), Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards.
In addition to game drives, chances are high that you might witness the “Great Migration” if you visit the Maasai mara national reserve during the Months between July and early November.

Day 9 : drive to Nairobi
Have breakfast at leisure in the morning and depart Maasai Mara for Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon, where you will either proceed to the airport or dine and sleep in one of the hotels.
