Detailed 18 Days Tanzania safari & Zanzibar Island tour Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival, you will be met by Aloyo safaris driver guide expert, who will pick you up, brief you about your 18 days Tanzania safari & Zanzibar Luxury tour to visit Tanzania’s famous National Parks or Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Zanzibar’s white sand beaches.
From here, you will then be transferred to your reserved Luxury lodge in Arusha for dinner and an overnight sleep.
Day 2: Coffee Plantation Tour

Following your morning breakfast, the safari driver guide will drive you to Tengeru coffee plantation for an exclusive coffee tour and hand craft. Upon reaching, you will head for a coffee tour at the farm, where you will be taught all coffee procedures from how to plan to how it is made. Thereafter, you will proceed for local lunch with your guide, then proceed to explore Arusha. You will visit places like local food markets, the Maasai market among others. Later in the evening, you will return for dinner and an overnight rest at your lodge
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
On this day 3 of the 18 days Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Beach Tour, you will travel to Tarangire National Park along with packed lunch. Tarangire National Park in habits more than 500 species of birds, and various animals living within the Acacia and the different land vegetation including the famous baobab trees, old palm, dense bush, as well as the high grasses.
On arrival, you will head out for a game drive where you will glimpse numerous animals; elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, eland, lesser Kudu, waterbuck, cheetahs, gazelles Rhinos, leopards, impalas, hartebeest, the giant pythons as well as the tree climbing lions. Day 5: Full Day Game viewing at Lake Manyara
Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge, then proceed for your morning game drive where you spot a number of wild game; lions, wildebeests, hippos, zebras, impalas, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, dik-dik, baboons as well as the monkeys. Besides wild game, the park is also a home to various bird species such as cormorants, pelicans, flamingos, storks etcetera. Enjoy your lunch, after which you can go for the cultural/community tour or a canoeing tour.

Day 6: Cultural Tour to in Mto Wa Mbu Village in Manyara.

Today you will spend a day in a vibrant village of Mto wa mbu exploring, discovering, learning and experiencing the African people`s culture and their surprising traditions. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner included.
Mto wa Mbu is a small, busy agricultural village surrounded by magnificent scenery and great diversity of interesting cultural activities that can add great memorable experiences to your safari in the northern circuit.
The village borders the beautiful Lake Manyara National park and it is also a gateway to the famous Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti National Park. Rice and Banana including distinctive red banana are mainly grown crops in this vibrant village.
Walking through the village It`s an opportunity that gets you closer to African culture. The tour involves visiting local people in their really homes, learning of their culture and experiencing different activities that make their living for example making and testing local beer made from Banana, Testing of local food at one of the villager’s home, Experiencing the Makonde woodcarving and secret to the tribe painting techniques and many other insights including the unique interesting Maasai Market that take place every week on Thursday afternoon.
Day 7: Journey To Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up for breakfast, after that drive to Ngorongoro crater where you will arrive in time for lunch, then later proceed for an afternoon game drive in the Ngorongoro crater. This world heritage site in Ngorongoro district and it consists of the world’s largest volcanic caldera that lies within the conservation Area. Day 8: Full Day Game Viewing at Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Following your morning breakfast, you will head out for a full day game drive to see animals found in this park such as; elephants, cheetah, lions, hartebeest, hippos, Black Rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, eland, giant Gazelles, leopards, buffalos, reedbuck, waterbuck, warthogs, hyenas, baboons, jackals and the vervet monkeys. You will also sight some birds during the game drive like; crowned crane, martial eagle, black bustards, ostrich, kori bustard, secretary birds, marabou stork, bizaire secretary, love birds, bustards, and the famous plovers. The park also inhabits European migrants including the Augur Buzzards, white storks, swallows, Schalow’s Wheatear, Yellow Wagtails, flamingoes, Anteater Chat, Stonechat, Fiscal Shrike, and Verreaux’s Eagle. Later return to your booked luxury lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 9: Drive To Serengeti National Park
On this 8th days of the 10 days Tanzania Luxury safari, you will head out for a community walk to the Masai people enjoying some traditional performances, you might also opt for a forest walk, after then, you will drive to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 10: Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park
Today the 9th day of the 18 days Tanzania safari & Zanzibar Tour, you will have an early breakfast, and later on head for morning game drive so as to catch up with the nocturnal animals returning from hunting and other game including; the lions. You will spot many animals during the game drive such as; the eland, elephants, buffalos, topi, zebras, solitary leopards, solitary leopards, lions, cheetahs, Hyenas, aardwolf, Gaudy agama lizards, rock Hyraxes, black Rhinoceros, waterbuck, baboon, African dog, serval cat as well as the Kongonis. Day 11: Depart For Arusha
Following your morning breakfast, you will transfer to Arusha with an enroute game drive by road or fly back, and later on depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport in Dar-es-salaam for your domestic flight to Zanzibar.
Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, soon after Immigration clearence procedures, where another Aloyo Safaris driver guide will transfer you to Le Mersenne hotel resort Michanvi beach for check in.
DAY 12- Full day Beach holiday in Zanzibar

DAY 13: spice farm & stone town leisure walking tour
Touring this stretch of fleshy green gardens of numerous species of spices and tropical fruits trees will remind you how spice was used in the traditional cooking, medicine as well as cosmetics. In this farm, you will discover powerful Zanzibar spices including nutmeg, ginger root, cardamom, vanilla, black paper, cinnamon, cloves among others. DAY 14: Blue Full Day Trip
On this day, you will wake up for a hearty breakfast, after then be driven to Unguja Ukuu, where you will take a traditional boat ride to experience marine life, the sunbath on a beautiful sandbank, as well as swimming around the blue turquoise water.
You will also Snorkel to discover the underwater life surrounded by coral reefs with colorful school of fish, after which you will have a golden opportunity to visit Kwale island to experience nature, thereafter you will have a delicious seafood lunch, barbeque, brawns, calamari, octopus among others and enjoy to test tropical fruits which you may never test before with excellent local snacks. The trip may end around by 4:30pm and later return back to Le Mersenne Hotel Resort Michanvi beach
DAY 15: Zanzibar beach Holiday
Following your morning breakfast, you will spend the whole day relaxing at the beach and hotel. You will enjoy Full Board meals and overnight.
DAY 16: Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank
After your morning breakfast, you will have the opportunity to unwind in the spectacular island known as Changuu island located north west of stone town. It takes 20 minutes to ride to cross the water by small motorboat. This island was used to hold captive the rebellious slave, it’s also regarded as the home of land giant Aldabra tortoises which were imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. You will enjoy quality time visiting the tortoise park as well as playing with them up close, while you feed them, as well as capturing memorable photos with them.
After here proceed to visit incredible prison building, after which, you will visit the Nakupenda beach to enjoy the Indian ocean breeze, sunbathe on spectacular sandbank and swim around the blue crystal water turquoise. Have breakfast, and instantly transfer to Muyuni beach in the north east, take the boat to experience marine life, enjoy Sunbath on spectacular Sandbank, and swimming around blue turquoise water. You can also Snorkel to explore underwater life surrounding by coral reefs with colorful school of fish and enjoy to test tropical fruits.
After here it will be your turn to visit sea tortoise aquarium at nungwi, where you are likely to have nice moments to play with tortoises in their aquarium, feed them and enjoy swimming with them quite close. Around noon we will depart nungwi and drive back to LE MERSENNE HOTEL RESORT MICHANVI BEACH
DAY 18: Say Goodbye to Zanzibar
Following your breakfast, checkout of the hotel, and travel to Zanzibar International Airport, arrive at the Airport in time for your departure flight.
