Day By Day Itinerary For 7 Days Kenya Luxury Safari
Day 1: Pick Up-Flight To Samburu National Reserve
You will be picked up from your Hotel of residence, JKIA or at your convenient pick up point, for a transfer to Wilson Airport. The flight then leaves at 0830hrs, arriving at any nearby in Samburu National reserve, where you will find another driver guide waiting to transfer you by road to your booked accommodation in Samburu National Game Reserve.
Relax as you wait for lunch, after which you will head for an afternoon game drive in search for all the big game, such as elephants on this rugged, & arid terrain. flowing through the park, is the Ewaso Nyiro River, attracting many wildlife seeking nourishement, thus making it a great spot for animal sighting.
Day 2: Full Days Game Drive in Samburu
Your decision of either going on a full day game drive, morning and evening game drive, will help you determine the way you would love to enjoy your Samburu Game drive. A full day game drive comprises of looking for elephants, lions, buffalo, zebra, antelope, among other species.Nonetheless, Samburu is also home for various endangered species like the Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa oryx.
Day 3: Samburu -Transfer drive to Olpegeta Conservancy
Rise up early for Breakfast, and head for a game drive en-route, as you exit Samburu National Reserve, for Olpegeta Conservancy, a home to not only the Big Five Game, but also the injured & orphaned Chimpanzees, as well as the last 2 white Rhinos.
At 2:00pm proceed to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, to visit the orphaned and injured chimps which are being nursed back to health, then after proceed to visit the black rhino enclosure, a vast expanse devoted to safe guard the largest population of more than one hundred – of the endangered and shy creatures including: black rhino, Gravy’s zebra, the Jackson’s hartebeest, and Chimpanzees
Day 4: Full Day Olpegeta
Depending on how you would love to spend your full day olpegeta Conservancy game drive. Enjoy as many game viewing drives as you love to, and later relax at your accommodation.
The whole day wildlife game viewing drive, focuses on looking for impalas, giraffe, baboon, jackal, foxes, and hyena. Not often seen in other parks, although you will also have great sights of the Big Five (elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, and buffalo). Chances are that, you might also spot endangered African wild dogs so we’ll be tracking for them as well.
Besides, the park also offers night time game drives, bicycle safaris, Dog tracking, among many activities.
Day 5: Fly to Masai Mara Airstrip
Wake up early for breakfast, then take the last drive in this conservancy, as you exit for your flight at the Airstrip for Masai Mara National reserve. The flight sets off at 10:30 am, reaching in Masai Mara National Reserve Airstrip , after 1 hour. You will again meet up with another driver guide, upon landing.
Touching down near the park you’ll meet your second Natural World Kenya Safaris guide who will be waiting with an open-sided 4 x 4 Land Cruiser. Jump in and we’re off to perhaps the most famous wildlife park in the world.
The park will open up before you as a great region of sprawling savannahs and rolling hills, adorned with distinctive acacia trees and over 95 species of mammals.
Masai Mara National reserve is famous for its annual Great Migration, which comprises of diverse accumulation of Big Five and over 2 million population of Wildebeests, Antelopes, and Zebras. Besides the Migration, Masai Mara national Reserve protects large numbers of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, Leopard, Rhino, lion and cheetah.
The annual great Migration Occurrence led to its recognition as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, as well as one of the ten Wonders of the World, hence Masai Mara National Reserve is a land of sensational vistas, a myriad wildlife and endless plains, as well as
uncountable birds filling the skies and the trees.
Day 6: Full Day Wildlife activity in Masai Mara
This day 6 of 7 days luxury Kenya safari, allows you to is spend game viewing in Masai Mara national Reserve-Kenya’s Wildlife National Park. Both morning and afternoon game drive, takes you in search of Africa’s Big five a long side other wildlife including;- Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartbeests, wildebeest, zebras and hippos which are found in Big numbers, though cheetahs and leopards are not easily spotted within the
park.Besides the wild game viewing, Masai Mara also offers the ultimate experience of the great wildebeest’s migration along the Mara river, between the months of July and August when moving northwards to Serengeti national park in search of green pastures and then southwards in October.
