4 days Masai Mara hot air Balloon Safari takes a 4 days hot air balloon adventure to experience an exclusive viewpoint (1000 to 3000 feet from the ground) of wildlife including Lions, cheetahs, elephants, Rhinos, Maasai Giraffes, Gazelles, Zebras, Impalas, among others in the vast home of the Great Migration. Besides the hot air balloon excursion, the 4 days Masai Mara Balloon safari, also involves game viewing drives, cultural activity.
The hot air balloon experience on day 3 of either the 3 days Masai Mara hot air Balloon safari or 4 days hot air balloon safari due to sometimes weather condition. Each balloon accommodates at most 16 passengers packaged in 4 basket partitions.
The flight sets off from the ground from any hours between 0600hrs – 0615hrs, to 60 minutes flight above the Masai Mara National Reserve. There after, you will land to hearty warm breakfast, awaiting for you in the bush, plus a final wrap of champagne wine toast. You will then driven back to your hotel/camp.

Detailed Itinerary for 4 days Masai Mara Itinerary
Day 1: Scenic Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your 4 days Masai Mara hot air balloon safari driver guide will arrive at the hotel or Airport to pick you up in a 4×4 customized safari Land cruiser with pop up roof for a transit to Masai mara National Reserve. You will both take a scenic drive by the Great Rift Valley of kenya along which you will take a short break to admire the breathtaking views, then to Narok town. After here, proceed to Masai Mara, where you will check in, followed by lunch.
Take the first afternoon game viewing drive in the Reserve, to find numerous wildlife: Zebras, Maasai Giraffes, Impalas, Leopards, Gazelles, Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants…
Dinner will be served upon your return in the lodge, plus an overnight in the lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Game Viewing drives
Depending on your choice between spending the entire day with picnic lunch or taking both early morning & evening game viewing drives-with lunch at the lodge, Masai mara National Reserve awaits you during anytime of the year to be explored.
You will have dinner, then an overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Hot Air Balloon and Cultural encounter
Though waking up early by 5:00 am may seem unpleasant, a member from the Hot Balloon crew will be right on time to pick you from the lodge in a 4×4 safari jeep. Then after, you will set off, to reach at the launching ground, where you will join others for briefing, while you keep your eye contact with the process of inflating the balloons.
You will then be led into the Basket, where each section carry 4 persons. The basket can only carry 16 persons. Curiosity levels strikes rises higher as you wait for the official launch.
The balloon then begins rising (thanks to the Hot hair Balloon crew), to an altitude that is compatible with the flight, between 1000 to 3000 feet from the ground level. Glimpse of giraffes, elephants, gazelles, hippos and many other grazers and foragers. Chances are that, you may even spot the lordly predators like lions, hyenas, cheetahs and other hunters.
You will then return after 1 hour of floating over Masai Mara, to a delicious bush breakfast, followed by champagne drink.
You will be transferred to the hotel, then take the next game drive for another game drive.
Lunch will be served, after then you will proceed to visit one of the Maasai Village.
You will learn skills like prayers, Long jump traditional dance, playing local chess, lighting fire naturally using wood among others
Day 4: Depart Masai Mara National Reserve For Nairobi
Following your routine morning breakfast, hope into the safari vehicle for your last drive out of Masai Mara National Reserve, to arrive in perfect time for lunch in Nairobi. Then proceed to your hotel of residence or to the Airport, to catch up with your flight back home.
