Detailed 11 Days Fly in Luxury Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Welcome to Arusha(Tanzania)

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania, you will collect your luggage and be met by your driver-guide, who will brief about the 10 days luxury Tanzania Fly-in Safari, after then you will be  chauffeured to your luxury hotel, where you check in for 1 night on Lunch, Dinner & breakfast basis. The afternoon is yours for resting after your long flight otherwise, you opt to walk  around the hotel surroundings..

Day 2:Transfer To Tarangire, afternoon game drive (BLD)

On having breakfast, you will depart for a 2 hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for the  large concentration of Elephants. The park is composed of dry landscaped, open woodland dotted with the ancient boabab trees. While in the private vehicle, you will great sights of many animals including: wildebeest, zebra, impala, giraffe, eland and buffalo as well, as few rare species such as the gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. You will enjoy your picnic lunch during your game drive, and eventually proceed to your camp for the evening dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Travel From Tarangire To Lake Manyara National Park (BLD)

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, after then depart to Lake Manyara National Park which is popular for its tree climbing lions.  Manyara also shelters over thousands of flamingos, elephants, wildebeest, baboons, giraffe and a myriad of plains game.

Day 4: Morning Game-drive -Fly to Northern Serengeti

Breakfast will be served early, then after depart the last morning game drive, heading for a flight to the Northern Serengeti or you can drive through along with picnic lunch enroute. This region of pristine, sweeping grassland and tree-lined watercourses is the heart around which the Serengeti migration circulates. Besides, the Northern Serengeti display plains game such as: zebra, topi, gazelles, impala, buffalo and giraffe who flood the area all year round.  While Lions are seldom far away, leopards are ever present, though elusive, stalk the rocky kopjes and river lines.

Day 5:  Full Day Wildlife activity(Northern Serengeti

On day 5 of the 11 day Tanzania Luxury safari, you will spend the entire day in the open plains of the Northern Serengeti, which is famous for its impressive resident game, as well as a perfect location to witness the “Great Wildebeest migration“,  in August and September every year. Lobo Area, is also a home to vast Elephant population, and displays superb bird watching. In the evening, return to the lodge for for leisure, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 6: Enroute Game drive-Fly to Seronera (Central Serengeti)

After Breakfast early in the morning,  set off(with packed lunch) for an enroute game drive exiting  Northern Serengeti for a flight to Central Serengeti, home to the big five and a myriad of plains game.  Central Serengeti covers the spectacular Seronera valley, where various perennial rivers flow through, which is the major source of water for several resident animals to thrive throughout each year. The location and resident prey attracts many predators. Apart from the resident wildlife, notable population of migratory animals such as cheetah, thomson’s gazelle & hyena, also inhabit the Central Serengeti during the dry season.

Day 7: Hot Air Balloon Safari With Ground Game viewing drives(Full Day)

In your private game viewing drive vehicle, you will spend the entire day in the Great Central Serengeti, which offer a memorable game viewing. The Central Serengeti is characterized by vast long-grass plains surrounded by rocky hills, and breathtaking river courses embellished with yellow barked acacia trees. Serengeti is also well known as home for Africa’s Big Five.

Wake up early for a cup of tea or coffee and set off for your amazing hot air balloon safari by 5:00am,  there after you will be transferred  to the starting point of Balloon safari, where you will be briefed about the regulations. You will then take off with the balloon to view the park at an aerial view. You will be able see the predators catching their prey in their natural habitat. Other animals to be spotted include large herds of elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Impalas, Topi, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, waterbuck, wild dogs, jackals, warthogs, hippos, Nile crocodiles, Gazelle among others. You will be returned to the tourist center, where you meet up with your driver guide, who will drive you back to the lodge for lunch.

Later in the Afternoon, you go for another game drive and later return to the lodge at sunset.

Day 8:Depart Serengeti For Ngorongoro Crater

Following your morning breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will have lunch at your lodge. The lodge sits on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater from where you get spectacular views of the collapsed volcano. Enroute you will have a break stop at the Olduvai Gorge aka “The land of Humanity”

After here, you will set off for an afternoon tour of the crater. The drive starts with a 600 m descent to the crater floor. Covering 260 sq km, the crater alone is an attraction of its own, and regarded one amongst the wonders of the Natural world. The crater supports the annual resident population of a variety of wildlife and bird life. You will have no trouble spotting lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo among other animal species, while plain animals includes- wildebeest, zebra reed buck, Thompson gazelle etcetera. Yet in the late afternoon, you will ascend the crater returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight at Simba campsite

Day 9: Full Day In Ngorongoro

Leave for an early morning game, after breakfast, then slope downwards  into Ngorongoro crater, which is a distinct ecosystem with many vegetation types with beautiful colours of the landscapes and the many animals. Animals to lookout for include: beautiful sights of the Big Five, and the superb views of the crater rim, is beyond the view of  the crater floor. Thus the natural breathtaking spectacle, has led to it being voted as one among Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

You can spend up to six hours in the crater before setting off for Karatu.

Day 10: Transfer to lake Eyasi

Upon having breakfast, Visit Lake Eyasi-a renown shelter to the hunter-gathers ethnic group of the Hadzabe Bushmen who share similar behaviors like the Southern African Bushmen. The the Hadzabe bushmen are most-likely to have been the last living bushmen in true harmony with nature and have lush flora & Fauna knowledge to share with us.

Day 10 of the 11 days Luxury Tanzania Safari comprises of tours and game walks guided by bushmen guiding you on their traditional hunting tracks.

Day 11: Return To Arusha- To Kilimanjaro International Airport

Have breakfast at Leisure, and Return by road to Arusha or Kilimanjaro By 4×4 safari Jeep, to catch flight back home to your country
