Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
You will be picked early in the morning from the hotel by a representative from Aloyo Safaris, with whom you will depart by road for Amboseli National Park. Enroute, you will drive through the beautiful Athi plains to the legendary land of the Maasai, having the largest number of roaming herds of Elephants.
After a 5 hours drive, you will arrive at the lodge for checking, thereafter lunch will be served. Spend the afternoon at leisure or relax by the Pool for swimming.
In the Late afternoon, embark on your first game drive , to spot large herds of Elephants, alongside other animals, that call Amboseli a home like Buffaloes, Impalas, Zebras, Wildebeests, Cheetah, giraffes, hyenas among others.
Amboseli national Park is located nearby the Tanzanian Border,, and is famous for its large herds of Elephants.
Besides wildlife, Amboseli also hosts more than 450 birds that flourish in Swamps and marshes .And are permanently registered which inludes 12 species of Heron, 6 categories of Vultures and 10 eagle types.
Return at dusk for Dinner and an overnight rest.
Day 2: Full Day Amboseli national Park Explorations.
Wake up early enough for breakfast, and proceed by 0630 hrs for the early morning game drive. On a bright day, you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro during the awe inspiring game drive.
You will return for the mid-morning breakfast, after which you can choose to relax or otherwise visit the Maasai Village, where you will .learn how to dance, play ground chase, learn how to pray, dance with them not forgetting the beautiful hand made jeweries or souvenirs, you can buy from the Maasai Market.
Other activities include learning how to start a fire, and how to paint the grass thatched houses with mud or dung.
Return for Lunch at mid day, and utilize the afternoon for resting or you can swimm at the camp/lodge pool. Thereafter, embark on your long evening game drive.
Tsavo West National Park whose terrain comprises of vast plains, majestic geological landscapes, cones, outcrops among others, makes up the best wildlife sanctuaries to be visited in Kenya. The park is also a home to wild game such as elands, elephants, Zebras, giraffes, spotted hyenas, Kongoni, waterbuck, impalas, duikers, and Klipspringer, Oryx, Leopards, Buffaloes among others
Dinner will be served at the restaurant, followed by an overnight sleep.
Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo West national Park
Rise up for an early morning game drive from 6:30 to 9:00am, when you will return for breakfast.
After this, you will then make your way to Tsavo West National Park, with an enroute break stop at Mzima Springs whose water comes from an under water tank, but also a habitat where you can spot some hippos along the floor of the Crystal springs.
Time for lunch finds you in the lodge after check in, followed by an evening game drive later in the evening, after the afternoon rest. Animals to view include Black Rhinos, Hartebeests, Zebras, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Wild dogs among others.
Day 4: Return to Nairobi.
Wake up early to start with the morning game drive from 0630hrs to 0900hrs. Return for breakfast and exit Tsavo West National Park for Nairobi. You can extend your post 4 days safari by visiting one of the beaches in Mombasa for leisure or do a Nairobi city tour , to visit the Giraffe center, Sheldrick wildlife trust, Nairobi National Museum among others.
