A Detailed Itinerary For 16 Days Tanzania Safari & Pemba Beach Honeymoon Holiday
Days 1: Getting To Arusha
Spending the night in or near Arusha will give you a chance to relax before your adventure begins. Your 16 day Tanzania safari & Pemba beach honeymoon safari starts in this city, which is frequently referred to as Africa’s safari capital.
Days 2–4: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Africa and is the biggest intact volcanic caldera on the planet. Large herds of plains game and predators are drawn to the area by its stunning terrain and fertile soils, creating a vibrant and exciting wildlife spectacle. Animals such as zebras, lions, and leopards may all be seen in this area. Lions can be seen frolicking in the tall grass, while leopards can be spotted in the trees along the rims of the craters.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore Lake Manyara National Park, which is situated at the foot of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and is home to the Maasai ecosystem. A large soda lake is enclosed by verdant grasslands, wetland, and forest in this location. Lake Manyara national park is also a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, housing a variety of animals such as hippos, baboons, tree-climbing lions, buffalo, elephant, giraffes, and 350 bird species, including flamingos.

Days 4–7: 3 Days in Northern Serengeti
The majority of your days will be spent on safari, looking out for the diverse range of species of animals that the northern Serengeti has to offer. At the peak of the great migration (which happens at different times each year), this area is where you’ll find the greatest concentration of herds. If you’re lucky, you can view the notorious river crossings in the Northern Serengeti, which forms the boundary with Kenya’s well-known Maasai Mara national Reserve. In addition, the Northern Serengeti boasts unspoiled natural beauty, with rivers, forests, broad plains, and rolling hills.

Day 7 – 11: Discovering Nyerere National Park
Nyerere National Park is the largest National Park in East Africa and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for a variety of wildlife, including a huge pack of wild canines, large game, migrating elephants, river safaris, and tiger fishing.

Days 11–16: Spend 5 Nights On Pemba Island
Pemba, the lesser-known sister of Zanzibar, remains pleasantly untouched with its verdant vegetation, clove-growing soil, and diving spots teeming with coral reefs and marine life.
Pemba, one of the three “Spice Islands” near Zanzibar, is known for its more island-like shape compared to the other two. Its landscape features verdant hills adorned with thick forests, creeks winding through verdant valleys, shores knotted with mangroves, and stunning flour-white beaches.
