Day 1: Arrival in Kigali International Park
Embark on an extraordinary journey through Rwanda, the land of “a thousand hills,” a small yet breathtaking country. A representative from our tour crew will be available at the airport to escort you to your accommodation.

Day 2: Reconciliation Village tour & Kigali City Tour
In the morning, you will commence your day with a tour of a reconciliation village located outside Kigali city. Survivors of the genocide recount their experiences to you, despite coexisting among the perpetrators. One of the locations where many innocent individuals lost their lives during the genocide is the Nyamata church in Bugesera, which you will visit.
Subsequently, you should return to Kigali to see the genocide memorial, the Kandt Museum, and many art and craft shops.

Day 3: Transition to Akagera National Park
Your driver/guide will collect you from your accommodation this morning following breakfast to proceed to Akagera National Park. Upon arriving at the park, the subsequent step is to proceed to your accommodation.
Subsequent to your meal, embark on a boat tour around Lake Ihema. You can reserve the boat today so that you can go on a safari exploring the northern half of Akagera the next day.

Day 4: Game drive and Boat Safari
Elephants, hippopotamuses, buffalo, and lions inhabit Akagera National Park in the savannah. Following a leisurely breakfast, we embarked on a game drive in search of these critters, heading north of the park, where the animals typically gather. Be vigilant along the game trails for zebras, giraffes, and impalas.

Day 5: Community Tour near Akagera National Park
Pastoralists prefer the eastern region of Rwanda because of its superior flatness relative to the remainder of the country. Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking and Canopy walk in Nyungwe forest
We embark on chimpanzee tracking in the Nyungwe Forest following an early breakfast. The forest is inhabited by 300 species of birds and many primates, including 13 species of chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys, and Colobus monkeys. Prior to commencing your excursion, your tour guide will escort you to the briefing area to meet the community guide and receive an orientation. The location where the chimpanzees slept influences the total distance of the journey.
Return to the resort following the chimpanzee excursion or immediately undertake the canopy walk for a leisure. While you appreciate the natural splendor underneath, the canopy walk will immerse you in an alternate realm.

Day 8: Trekking for Colobus Monkeys
This morning, we will once again depart for the briefing location in the Nyungwe forest. Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

A ranger and a family of gorillas will be assigned to accompany you on your forest expedition, commencing with a briefing at the park headquarters in Kinigi. Your ranger guide will escort you to the trailhead following the briefing. Depending on the location of the gorilla troop you are hiking, you may need to drive to the trek’s beginning point. Many individuals aspire to embark on an expedition into the habitat of these colossal creatures, as it is an extraordinary, transformative experience. Once you locate them, you are permitted to spend only one hour in their company; thereafter, you must commence your return journey.
Visit the Gorilla guardians’ Community on your return from the park. Devote the morning to acquiring knowledge about Rwandan culture at the gorilla guardians’ community. Engage in knitting, dedicate a day to reign as a monarch, or perfect the skill of archery.
