Detailed Itinerary For the 10 Day Serengeti Safari & Beach Honeymoon Safari Tanzania
Day 1: A serene Overnight Retreat in Arusha
Before starting your trip in the morning, have a peaceful night in your luxurious lodging in or near Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub.
Accommodation: Arusha Coffee Lodge Or The Legendary
Days 2–6: 5 Days Serengeti National Park safari
Serengeti National Park is dubbed one of the most well known National Parks in the world. In addition to a remarkable array of year-round wildlife, the Serengeti hosts the Great Wildbeest Migration every year, where more than 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra migrate across the plains to and from the nearby Maasai Mara in Kenya. With just a canvas separating you from the wild, this camp is one of our favorites. You will go on game drives to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife, walk with the graceful Maasai, and take in some of Africa’s most breathtaking sunsets.
Accommodations in Serengeti National Park
Safari on foot
All of the locations for the Wilderness Usawa mobile camp are situated in approved walking zones and are spread out over the Serengeti. Venture out into the wilderness with a knowledgeable ranger and guide to experience nature up close, far from the hustle and bustle of the jeep. This safari experience is unmatched since it gives you the opportunity to see, hear, and smell nature.
Flight in a hot air balloon
Experience the Serengeti by hot air ballooning across the plains before sunrise. From this vantage point, you may appreciate the vastness of this massive national park and, with luck, catch a rare glimpse of herds of animals roaming the apparently endless grasslands.
Days 6–10: Four romantic evenings in Zanzibar
In Zanzibar, you may unwind on palm-lined beaches and forget about the outside world while dhows pass by in silence. It’s a true Indian Ocean paradise where time slows down to an East African pulse. Spending four nights here gives you the opportunity to take in the breathtaking desert-island landscape, which includes twisted mangroves and emerald palms encircling powder-white sands, as well as swim in the shallow turquoise waters dotted with rainbow coral reefs. A rich cultural heritage and history of spice traders from Indonesia and India saturate the air, adding a fragrant touch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Sunset dhow voyage
Enjoy refreshments and snacks while you unwind and take in the sunset on a private dhow cruise. Before retiring to your accommodation for the night, take in the breathtaking sunset as the sky, water, and sand transform from blue to pink to flaming orange.
The Spice Tour
Admire, smell, and taste a range of spices and seasonal tropical fruits as you drive through the countryside, including jackfruit, pineapple, bananas, green coconut juice, durian, love apple, litchi, and soursop. The air is perfumed with spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, cardamon, and black pepper. The iodine plant, heena bush, ylang-ylang, lipstick tree, cocoa, and coffee bean trees will also be covered.
