What to expect on a Gorilla Trekking in Africa (Uganda, Rwanda & Congo)?
After an early wake, expect to start your morning with a delicious buffet breakfast at your lodge ( of your budget range), followed by a transfer for briefing at the park head quarter, where you will present your passport/ID and Gorilla permit for identification, age limits & registration.
Thereafter, You will be briefed about the rules to adhere during gorilla trekking, allocated in groups of 8 for a specific gorilla group, and a guide will be assigned.

What To Do, How to Behave in The Presence Of Gorillas (Gorilla/Human Interactions)
Gorilla trekking lets you stay with mountain gorillas up close and personal for at most 1 hour upon finding them.

Maintain an approximate distance of 7 meters bеtwееn уоu аnd the gorillas аt аll times.

Keep a low voice tone at all times when with the gorillas
Do not look Straight into the Gorillas eyes, because it may misunderstands it as a sign of Hostility.
Smoking, drinking, оr eating is strictly prohibited within 200 meters of a gorilla fаmilу.
