Day #3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti.

After an early morning  game drive, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will make a stopover to Olduvai Gorge, which boasts a long and illustrious history. The skulls of “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man,” two extremely important links in the chain of human development, were found here by anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey. Transfer in the late afternoon to Rhino Campsite, where you will spend the night and have dinner.

Day #4: Arusha’s Ngorongoro Crater

You will descend more than 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife after an early breakfast. The Ngorongoro conservation area is home to a wide range of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants. It is also supported by a year-round supply of water and forage. The abundance of predators in this stunning national park, including as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may occasionally be difficult to identify without a trained eye, is another major lure. One of the crater’s primary features, Lake Magadi, is a sizable but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwest corner. It is normally possible to view a lot of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds here. Transfer to Arusha or drop-off at the airport in the late afternoon.
