Day 1 – 2: Entebbe, Uganda / Ngamba Island
From Entebbe International Airport (EBB), a shuttle will transport you to your hotel upon your arrival. Tour the Chimpanzee Sanctuary on Ngamba Island next day. This facility was constructed in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute to serve as a sanctuary for rescued and orphaned chimpanzees. Finally, visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center.

What You Can Expect
Travelers must be in good physical shape and prepared for several hours of walking or hiking across uneven terrain on certain days, as this tour is rated with moderate activity.
Visitors would trek for up to 8 hours through the deep jungle at elevations reaching 10,000 feet in pursuit of primates. Treks can be demanding; the terrain may be rugged, irregular, wet, or sodden.
The minimum age limit for travelers is 15 years. Numerous extended driving days are anticipated, with the longest lasting seven hours and including multiple breaks.
