This 7 days Rwanda Uganda safari include gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda) and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Uganda), wildlife drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park and cultural excursions, totaling around two days in Rwanda and five in Uganda.
A Detailed 7-Day Rwanda Uganda Safari(Gorilla, Chimpanzees, & Big Five Wildlife)
Upon your arrival at the Kigali hotel, your driver-guide will be present to provide an overview of the excursion. Following your visit to the Kigali Genocide Museum, you will be transported for roughly 2.5 hours northwest via lush hills and market villages to arrive at Volcanoes National Park, renowned for its mountain gorilla research.

Day 2 Volcanoes National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, you will be transported to the Kinigi Park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefing. Following that, after around one hour of trekking, you will observe the mountain gorillas in the rainforest up close. Each gorilla group is consistently monitored, ensuring their locations are always known.
Transportation to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is arranged for later today.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will receive a comprehensive briefing on Uganda Gorilla Trekking at the ranger station. You will embark on a trip into the bush in pursuit of gorillas, accompanied by a senior ranger. After locating them, you spend almost an hour observing them up close before returning to the lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Next destination is Queen Elizabeth National Park, where one can witness baboons, hippos, buffalo, lions, and elephants following breakfast. Afternoon game expeditions provide the opportunity to observe tree-climbing lions, a rare phenomenon in Africa. You may also observe buffalo, many kinds of antelopes, and the biggest herds of elephants in Uganda.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following an early breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, an excellent location for observing jackals, bushbucks, forest pigs, buffalo, elephants, and kob, all of which serve as prime hunting grounds for predators. In the afternoon, one can go on a launch trip in Kazinga Channel to observe wildlife intimately.
In the evening, further game viewing possibilities may be available at the lodge.

Day 6: Kyambura Gorge to Lake Mburo National Park
Your chimpanzee tracking expedition commences with an early breakfast, succeeded by a 35-kilometer drive to Kyambura Gorge. The gorge is inhabited by monkeys, baboons, vervet monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and several bird species. You will subsequently be taken to Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 7: From Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe
Your walking safari at Lake Mburo National Park offers a tranquil method for observing wildlife, free from the disruption of engines. Prevalent fauna comprises zebras, bushbucks, impalas, duikers, warthogs, and topis. After breakfast at the resort, your tour concludes with a transfer to Entebbe, where your guide will either escort you to your hotel or the airport.
