How to get To Volcanoes National Park From Kampala/Uganda
Volcanoes National Park can also be accessed by road, from Kampala Uganda, through Katuna border to Kigali. It takes 9 hours on self drive to reach Kigali capital from Kampala, while the bus may take at least 10-12 hours drive, depending on the traffic, and several break stops.
Visiting the Volcanoes National Park from Uganda is more practical if you intend to visit other Uganda National Parks enroute like Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Mgahinga.
Most visitors arrive in Rwanda via Kigali International Airport (KGL), located on the outskirts of the capital, Kigali.
