5 days Kilimanjaro Trekking To Uhuru Peak(5895m) Via Marangu Route Trail

5 Days Kilimanjaro Trekking Marangu  offers Climbing Kilimanjaro to Uhuru Peak at 5895 meters via Marangu or Coca-Cola Trail Route in only 5 days. This 5 days Kilimanjaro  Marangu trail route trekking traverse the ancient route that approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the South East and has permanent huts.

The Marangu route is highly considered by most Kilimanjaro climbers because it is less challenging among other routes of Machame, Umbwe, Rongai, Lemosho among others, yet it takes a few days to complete, and has permanent huts built along.

At least 5 days are enough to summit Kilimanjaro to Uhuru peak, although chances of reaching peak(Uhuru) is not certain to every climber. Adding another day  for the Marangu route excursion, will allow for proper acclimatization, for a successful hike to the top. Marangu among other routes, offers sleeping huts in dormitory-like accommodations.

The Marangu route, however creates a lot of congestion because of the ascent and descent route is shared. It also  has a lower summit success rate due to the  steeper incline & less time for acclimatization.
