Gorilla trekking enthusiasts meet at 7:00am at the Volcanoes National Park head, for briefing, then after each group (of 8 individuals) is assigned a gorilla family, depending on the level of fitness.
Gorilla trekking schedules are unpredictable, but at least 2 hours to at most 8 hours for an approximate altitude range from 2,500m to 4,000m.
